Additional Information

Arrival

Arrival at the cottage is from 4.00pm onwards. Please depart by 10.30am to allow enough time for the cottage to be cleaned for the next guests.

Bookings

We reserve the right to change the prices at any time and to only book complete weeks. This does not affect bookings already made.

Deposit

We simply ask for £100 deposit to secure your booking, paid via bank transfer (or cheque if necessary!).

The balance plus £100 housekeeping deposit is payable 4 weeks before the start of your holiday.

We will then send you a pack of information with all details of access, directions, local grocery shopping and restaurants etc. so that you may place any orders or make any necessary reservations. We would be delighted to advise and help with any arrangements.

Your housekeeping deposit will be returned a few days after the end of your booking via bank transfer. In the unlikely event that the cottage requires additional cleaning and tidying (for example washing-up, carpet / upholstery cleaning, damage repairs, replacement of missing items), we will contact you with details.

Please note that all housekeeping deposits will be refunded in UK sterling or to the debit / credit card used.

Additional Charges

Any currency conversion charges and / or bank charges (in either direction) are the sole responsibility of the hirer / person(s) paying for the cottage.

Insurance

Please ensure that you have appropriate travel insurance in the event of cancellation. This should include bad weather cover as no refund will be given if you are prevented from reaching the cottage.

Cancellation

If you cancel your booking within 1 month of the arrival date, the entire rental fee will be due and no refund will be given. For cancellations made more than 1 month before the arrival date, we reserve the right to charge a £100 administration fee. The amount of the cancellation fee constitutes reasonable estimated losses arising out of the cancellation.

Please note, if you cancel but we succeed in re-letting the cottage for the same period we will refund any such rentals received less £100 administration fee. For these reasons we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance for your holiday.
